  I have been there many times since I was a child. This time, with my 24 year old son, it was way less busy than I remember. It also seemed.much small. The road there is far better than the single lane, gravel road with no guardrail that I remember as a child.

  Such great scenery and ample parking. The drive from Red Rocks to here is really cool. Definitely make this a stop while you're in town.

  Worth the drive. An excellent grave memorial, museum, restaurant, gift shop, lookout, and trail. Several smashed pennies at this gift shop. Loads of parking, even for longer vehicles.

  Highly recommend going for the scenery, but not so much for the museum. The lookout is amazing and you get a very widespread view of the mountains the the nearby towns. There are several quarter-paid tower viewers for onlookers and local trails as well.
  
  Regarding the museum, it's extremely commercialized and "touristy." If you have children, bring them in. Otherwise, check out the Buffalo Bill Wikipedia page and just visit for the scenery. The prices in the gift shop were expectedly absurd.
